Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence)'s heart breaks as she sees devastation of her home District 12 in the new trailer of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

"We need to make it personal for her," said Philip Seymour Hoffman's Plutarch Heavensbee. "Let her see what the Capitol did to District 12."

The one-minute teaser entitled "Return to District 12" fills the air with drama, and hardcore fans of Hunger Games are surely crushed with heroine's home turning into wasteland.

Lorde's 'Yellow Flicker Beat' resonates in the background of the horrific fate of Katniss' home. The New Zealand popstar Lorde previously sang a version of Tears for Fears' 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

The first The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 trailer was unwrapped last September, and it now has more than 15 million hits on YouTube, evidence of the growing anticipation for the first installment of the series' wrap-up.

The entire cast completed taping for the upcoming Part 2 last June.

"That's a wrap. Thank you @SuzanneCollins Thank you @Hibbits Thank you HG Fans," producer Nina Jacobson wrote, adding, "Other than that, I'm speechless."

The relief and joy of finishing one of the most epic movie franchises in history were the total opposites of what the cast went through after learning of the death of actor Philip Seymour Hoffman in February.

Hoffman died due to an overdose and "almost" completed the movie.

"He was scheduled for 50 days or so and he had shot about 42 or 43 of those days," Jennifer Lawrence said.

"He had about 8 days left but the meat of his performance was already finished."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 will hit US theaters on Nov. 21.
