'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star Khloe Kardashian is reportedly starting to develop her maternal instincts and is beginning to yearn for a family.

A source close to the reality star spoke to HollywoodLife.com, and revealed that Kardashian is having a tough time being single, and is afraid that time is running out for her.

"She wants to be in love again. She wants a family. She doesn't want to be pigeonholed as the best aunt in the world," the source said according to HollywoodLife.

Khloe Kardashian is currently in the process of divorcing basketball player, her ex, Lamar Odom.

The fashion guru is said to have been inspired by her sisters Kourtney and Kim, who both have children. Kourtney has a 4-year-old son, Mason, a two-year-old daughter, Penelope, and another one on the way.

Kim gave birth to a daughter, North West, last year. It is only normal that Khloe would indeed feel the pressure of starting her own family.

"She loves her nieces and nephew but there's nothing like being a mother. She wants that. And it's like, here she goes again being the dutiful and proud aunt," the source continued.

Khloe recently split with rapper French Montana, after reportedly feeling that she needed space.

"She's happy for Kourtney and Kim but she's sad inside because everyone around her is thriving and living and she's stuck. Her life sucks right about now," the HollywoodLife source added.
