This year's San Diego Comic-Con has brought about numerous pieces of good news to movie and television fans, but one of the most striking panels of the event was that of "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword."

Production dropped its first official trailer on Saturday and experts can't help but shower its visuals and sequences with praise. The Independent notes that while King Arthur's legend has been told many times in the past, it has never been told through the eyes of one Guy Ritchie.

The trailer sees Charlie Hunnam's Arthur growing up on the streets as he encounters the Excalibur, which will lead him to the truth about his lineage. Hunnam is also seen in what appears to be a fist-fighting spree, also on the streets.

Ritchie takes viewers to the modern world where Arthur might never have imagined living in. The widely acclaimed director is known to take his core characters in a "rags to riches" journey, which is something that fans will enjoy in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword."

According to CNET, big screens will witness how a small-time street guy embarks on a mission of reclaiming his birthright and it seems there's no stopping him until he gets to sit on the throne.

The outlet adds that Hunnam's Arthur is not just about being the leader and bearing the lineage of the throne. He is also about attitude. Arthur first gathers a group of people who will help him claim his rights and when he finally gets a touch of the Excalibur, he does so with the attitude and grace of a modern King.

Fans should expect some fun times for Arthur and his crew but there will also be big battles, a lot of bloodshed, and a giant creature that will bring color to the war for the throne.

"King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" is slated for release on March 24, 2017, and also stars Jude Law, Eric Bana, Aidan Gillen, Katie McGrath and Djimon Hounsou.
