Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura is headed to the San Diego Comic-Con International 2014 to sign autographs at Square Enix's booth.

Fans who are interested to meet the 43-year old legend behind the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy franchises will have to purchase at least one Play Arts action figure or DC comics in order to obtain a ticket.

Aside from meeting Nomura, those who get in the booth will also be given a limited edition Square Enix postcard with the director's autograph.

Unfortunately for expectant fans, any Kingdom Hearts 3 updates are not part of the event's list submitted by Square Enix, the mother studio of the popular franchise.

Instead, the re-mastered PS2 version, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix will be featured at the convention.

Meanwhile, co-director Tai Yasue has taken the helm of discussing some details of Kingdom Hearts 3 to the media.

In an interview with Game Informer, Yasue insisted that they are working double time for the much-awaited title:

"We've been working full throttle. It's moving along. We structured our team in a way that development of 2.5 doesn't impede Kingdom Hearts III. I'm actually very excited about Kingdom Hearts III."

He also stressed that 2014 is the year of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix – one of the reasons why a gameplay trailer of the third installment was absent at the last Electronic Entertainment Expo, a.k.a. E3.

Yasue furthered and hinted on what fans can look forward to when the next title comes out:

"It's going to be a mix. Whenever we come up with worlds for Kingdom Hearts, we want to have them be varied. You don't want the same type of world, so we will have different categories. That will make it feel fresh, like you're having an adventure."

And when asked if the rumors of Frozen being included in Kingdom Hearts 3 world, he gave an intriguing but safe answer:

"There's a lot of Disney content that's new and coming out and we're considering which ones to use, which would be good from a gameplay perspective. This is not an announcement or anything, but personally I enjoyed watching Frozen. It was magical: the stories, the songs, the ice expressions."
