'Kingdom Hearts 3' release date update: Game might launch in April 2017

(Facebook / Kindgom Hearts)"Kingdom Hearts" is a game series that combines characters from Disney world and Final Fantasy.

Those who have been expecting "Kingdom Hearts 3" to be launched during the E3 conference in June 2016 will be disappointed as the latest rumors say that is unlikely to happen. Instead, speculations say that fans might have to wait until April 2017 to get their hands on their favorite game.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" follows the story of Sora, who goes off on an adventure together with some of Disney's favorite characters like Mickey, Goofy, and Donald Duck. The third installment will feature a mature Sora.

There are many reasons for the game's delay, according to rumors and speculations, one of which is attributed to the latest Square Enix financial report which hints of an April release. The said report, which was shown to the investors, covers the fiscal year that ended in March 2016.

There are also several rumors circulating that "Kingdom Hearts 3" is not the final title of the game. What was actually included in the report was "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" instead of "Kingdom Hearts 3."

Despite this, recent speculations reveal that Square Enix will introduce a new trailer for the game during the E3 gathering. NeuroGadget shares that the trailer will also feature new characters who will be seen in the third installment of the popular game. With the release of a new trailer, fans don't mind waiting for the premiere of "Kingdom Hearts 3."

This all came after the producer of "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X," Hironori Okayama, announced that they would be making a big announcement during the E3 conference.

Even though it might take a long time for "Kingdom Hearts 3," the report from Square Enix reveals that they will be releasing some exciting game titles this year, including "World of Final Fantasy," "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Final Fantasy XV," "Dragon Quest Heroes II," and SaGa Scarlet Grace."
