"Kingdom Hearts III's" release date is still a mystery as Square Enix didn't reveal the details at the recently concluded E3 2016. Given the lack of release date details, rumors about the game continue to swirl.

According to Master Herald, the game will likely be available before March 10, 2017. It's pure speculation but the publication noted this specific date since Square Enix has reportedly scheduled a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra World Tour next year which will run from March 10 to June 24. The publication further explained that it would be pointless for the game company to have a world tour if the game itself is not available yet by that time.

If indeed "Kingdom Hearts III" will come out before March or early next year, it won't release simultaneously in different parts of the world. As hinted by game director Tetsuya Nomura during Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the game will come out first in Japan. However, the rest of the world won't really have to wait that long since the release will be "nearly simultaneous."

Square Enix will have a global launch for "Final Fantasy XV" on Sept. 30, so it's likely that the same thing will be done for "Kingdom Hearts III," according to Design&Trend.

Although Square Enix didn't discuss more about "Kingdom Hearts III" at E3, there are other hints about the game's release and its story based on the interviews done during the event week.

It was revealed that more details about "Kingdom Hearts III" will be dropped in December. It is unclear what Square Enix plans to reveal or how. Design&Trend also says it is likely that the game will be showcased at the annual PlayStation Experience, which happens during that month.

"Kingdom Hearts III" is also confirmed to be composed of original and Disney-themed worlds. Co-director Tai Yasue has made it clear that there won't be "Final Fantasy" worlds in the upcoming "Kingdom Hearts" game.
