Last week, ESPN First Take's Stephen A. Smith reported that after being with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Kevin Durant will most likely head to the Los Angeles Lakers next rather than the Washington Wizards. However, Durant has made a brief response on this report, calling Smith a liar, thus igniting the flames of the issue even stronger.

According to the recent report from SB Nation, Smith, during his most recent episode on First Take, addressed Durant's comment to reporters claiming that he didn't have a talk with Smith or even any of his friends and families.

"Kevin Durant on the Lakers rumors: 'I don't talk to Stephen A Smith at all. No one in my family, my friends do. So he's lying,'" reads the post on Twitter

Smith then replied on the show, in what appears to be a threatening manner while staring at the camera as if he was talking to Durant, "You do not want to make an enemy out of me."

The news of Durant heading to LA Lakers was first brought up by Smith and according to SB Nation's report from last week, Smith claimed that "regardless of how senseless it may (sound), in one breath I'm hearing that if Kevin Durant doesn't stay in Oklahoma City, L.A. is his primary objective and landing spot as opposed to South Beach or even his home of Washington, D.C."

However, there is still no word from the side of Durant and no updates yet whether or not he will get signed by Los Angeles Lakers next summer in the NBA Free Agency. So for now, it's best to keep an eye out for more details. Additionally, fans are advised to keep an open-mind for now as these are all just rumors and speculations.
