Lady Gaga seems to be on a roll since the start of 2016. Fresh from winning her first acting award, now she is chosen to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The NFL confirmed, Tuesday, that the Grammy Award-winning singer is set to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl 50 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Gaga will sing during the pre-game between the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos which will be aired live on CBS, CNN reports. Joining her on stage is "Children of A Lesser God" actress Marlee Matlin who will perform the national anthem in American Sign Language.

The upcoming Super Bowl 50 has lined up a number of today's biggest artists. New York Times reveals that British band Coldplay will be performing during the halftime show with a guest appearance by Beyonce. There are also rumors that Bruno Mars could be joining them as well.

February is definitely a jam-packed month for Gaga. After earning her first acting award in the Golden Globes last month for her role in "American Horror Story: Hotel," she now scored a performance at the Super Bowl. Plus, on Feb. 15, she will also do a special performance as a tribute to the late David Bowie at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

Gaga is also nominated in the 88th Academy Awards for Best Original Song for Motion Pictures for her work in "Til It Happens To You" from the movie "The Hunting Ground."

Gaga is also taking her time in preparing for her wedding with partner Taylor Kinney. She has been engaged to the "Chicago Fire" actor for almost a year now. Recently, there are rumors that the couple will marry in Italy instead of the Lancaster County, where Kinney was born. They reportedly chose Italy as a way of celebrating Gaga's heritage.
