The upcoming episode 14 of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" season 17, titled "Nationwide Manhunt," will show two of the best agencies join forces for the nationwide manhunt of convicts Gregory Yates (Dallas Roberts) and Carl Rudnick (Jefferson Mays). Airing tonight at 9 PM on NBC, the upcoming episode will be a part of the two-chapter crossover with "Chicago PD."

The show's Lt. Benson (Mariska Hagitay) and her team will be getting the help from Chicago PD, represented by Det. Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) and Det. Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), and the FBI in order to find the two convicts.

The entire team is cautioned that the two convicts, who are said to have no conscious, can skillfully charm anyone. Thus, they are profiled as a huge threat to the entire nation.

Both the Law and Order SVU team and the Chicago PD team are seen to be in a tense and action-packed manhunt, the recent trailer shows.

In the clip, Benson furiously asks for Yates whereabouts to another character while Det. Sonny Carisi (Peter Scanavino) was seen to have hit someone.

To recap the last episode, titled "Forty-One Witnesses," the case was about an intoxicated woman who was attacked and raped outside of her apartment. As the investigation by the SVU team continues, they found out that there are quite a number of witnesses who did not even help the victim. They all insisted that they did not see anything, which Benson is not convinced. She believes that of the hundred windows outside the building, it is impossible that nobody saw anything.

Since the victim was having a hard time recalling the incident, Benson and Barba are forced to gather information from the unreliable witnesses in order to identify the attackers. Fortunately, Carisi successfully convinced an unsuspecting witness to help the woman and testify for her in court.

After episode "Nationwide Manhunt," "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" will end its 17th season with two more episodes.
