"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (SVU) is set to become even more exciting with the kind of episodes that are lined up for fans this season. Season 16 will be anything but a bore with an episode that inspired by the Bill Cosby controversy and a crossover episode with "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago P.D".

In an exclusive interview with TVPage, creator and executive producer of "Law & Order: SVU", Dick Wolf, revealed that there will be an episode that is inspired by comedian Bill Cosby and the allegations of him date-rapping women. He said, "We've already (made) it".

However, Wolf denies that it is based on the real facts by saying, "But as I've said for 20 years, all of the law & orders are fiction".

Many women have come forward to share their story about Cosby, including supermodel Beverly Johnson in Vanity Fair magazine and former SVU actress Michelle Hurd. When asked when the episode will air in season 16, Wolf didn't divulge the details quoting, "I am not sure of the air date, but it is coming." It will be fascinating to see this particular episode that is allegedly based on real-life events.

Additionally, around episode 20 fans can expect a crossover episode between the three NBC shows, as was done in the previous season. The Christian Post reports that a Ted Bundy-esque character will be hunted in New York and Chicago and it's this character's pursuit that will be the center of the crossover. The hunt for such a character will begin in Chicago. Viewers will be taken back and forth between Chicago and New York.

Looks like an exciting series of episodes are set to air in "Law & Order: SVU". Catch all new episodes of the show every Wednesday at 8 p.m. central time on NBC network.
