LG G4 Pro release date announced tipped to come Oct. 10, specs revealed on GFXBench

Consumers who prefer LG handsets to other brands will be gratified to know that the South Korean company is reportedly getting ready to unveil its new flagship device, the LG G4 Pro. The device will allegedly go by the name LG V10 when it's released in the U.K. Whatever name it goes by, the handset will undoubtedly carry the same high-quality specs and features associated with LG. 

The LG G4 Pro is allegedly already listed on GFXBench. According to the Tech Times, the smartphone's key specs and features have been listed as well. 

The LG G4 Pro is reportedly light at just 192 grams, with dimensions of 6 x 79.3 x 8.6 mm. It appears to have a 5.7-inch screen size with a 2560 x 1440 pixel quad-HD display. It is reported to house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, a 4 GB LPDDR3 RAM, a 64 GB storage space that can be pushed to 2 TB via a microSD card, and a 3000 mAh removable battery pack, and run the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. It's been said that the handset also has Bluetooth 4.1, a USB 2.0, a fingerprint scanner and an 802.11ac Wi-Fi. 

The BBC site alleges that the LG G4 Pro/ V10 comes with two front-facing cameras that have different lenses, one for the "normal" selfies and the other for 120-degree photos.  The smartphone also has a 16 MP rear camera with an F/1.9 aperture. What's more, users can utilize the video's manual controls to change the shutter speed and frame rate. They also have the option to shoot in full HD, HD or in 4K. 

The camera's features is one that LG wants to emphasize and said in a statement that the "ability to take group selfies without a selfie-stick has never been easier." 

The LG G4 Pro is said to be designed to be taken anywhere and its flexible Dura Guard frame guarantees that, as it is made from the same material used to craft surgical tools and high-end watches. It will reportedly come in luxe white, modern beige, ocean blue, opal blue and space black. 

According to the LG Newsroom, its latest handset will hit stores in Korea this month, followed by the United States, China and Latin America markets, as well as other select countries in Asia. 

There's no official announcement made regarding the LG G4 Pro's exact release date or price, but the International Business Times has reported that those details will be revealed on Oct. 10.
