A writer for the series, Longmire, sent out a post in his Twitter account that could possibly be the clue as to what will happen in the fourth season of the show.

There has been a trend among studio executives and writers of sending cryptic messages through social media accounts. These posts are most likely linked to the projects they're working on, and this could be what Tony Tost's recent Twitter post could be.

Since Netflix acquired the exclusive rights for the series, little is known about what surrounds the story line for the fourth season, and Tony Tost might have shared the first glimpse into his writing process.

Tost posted a song by Tanya Tucker called "What's Your Mama's Name," with a caption that says "Now Playing in the #Longmire writer's room, Tonya Tucker – What's Your Mama's Name."

The writer has made similar posts in the past, with his posts ending up to be clues of future Longmire episodes. The Tonya Tucker song, according to several reports, could be of the same fashion. Website, Enstarz reported that the writer could be referring to the story arc between Cady (Cassidy Freeman) and her relationship with her mother in the show.

Longmire fans know that her mother was murdered, leading to Walt's return in law enforcement. This particular death also prompted the mysterious details about the death of Miller Beck, the one who was accused of murdering Cady's mother. Season 3 ended with speculation that Beck could have not killed Cady's mother, and the fourth season will reveal what really happened. If an episode on the fourth season about Cady's mother will happen, the writers will most likely use flashbacks. The song posted by Tost could be a hint that they're writing that particular episode, and that they are finally revealing who the killer is.

Longmire's season 4 will premiere on Netflix summer 2015.
