The fifth season of "Longmire" will arrive in less than a month, and as fans continue to wait for the new and exciting stories to be told, recent reports have emerged, suggesting that best of friends Walt and Henry may fight when the new installment arrives.

Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) and Walt (Robert Taylor) have been best friends for as long as fans can remember and they've always stuck up for each other in the previous seasons. While the plot for "Longmire" season five has not yet been completely divulged, there are rumors pointing to a possible face-off between the two in the upcoming season.

The speculations started after Phillips revealed in a recent interview with Access Hollywood that his character, Henry, actually has two personas in the series. However, this new character named Hector, has yet to be introduced, not only to viewers but also to Walt.

Hector, the other side of Henry, is reportedly a vigilante who seeks to protect the best interests of his people. Walt, on the other hand, is just as he is - the officer who also has the same goals as Hector. However, since Hector is a vigilante, this new side of the Henry that Walt has always known may not please Walt very much.

Walt will most likely stick with what the law says while Hector will go as far as breaking the law if it means he will bring justice for his people. It is speculated that this difference in standards and beliefs will drag the two friends apart from each other.

In the end, Henry and Walt may have to face off against each other and this is a storyline that fans would surely be interested in, considering that Henry's new side will come as a surprise to the small screens.

Meanwhile, fans are still longing to see Walt and Vic (Katee Sackhoff) finally falling into each other's arms. The novels have seen Walt and Vic sharing an almost intimate moment at one point, but as far as "Longmire" season five is concerned, it seems that the partners will still be tied by their work responsibilities and nothing more.

On the other hand, television shows don't always have to do as the books say so the fans' request for a Walt-Vic romantic storyline may be given a shot in the long run. However, it might not happen anytime soon since Walt is currently sharing a budding romance with someone else.
