MacBook Pro 2016 release rumors: An official reveal drawing closer?

People have been waiting for the arrival of the MacBook Pro 2016 for a while, and now, the latest signs seem to be indicating that it is closer than ever.

Recently, some folks discovered that last year's MacBook Pro models were now on sale.

Best Buy is even currently offering a $100 discount on last year's 13.3 inch MacBook Pro model, and while a certain product being put on sale doesn't necessarily mean that something new is coming to replace it on the market, it could still be an indicator that Apple is aiming to clear its shelves.

Even before the discount discoveries, some people had already begun to suspect that the MacBook Pro 2016 would be released relatively soon.

Earlier this year, some people expected Apple to unveil the new MacBook Pro models at their March event, though that obviously came and went without the anticipated product being revealed.

Now, the latest rumors concerning the laptop suggest that it may be launched next month. Specifically, the new laptop will reportedly be launched at next month's WWDC event.

It's worth noting that Apple is currently not advertising the new laptop being revealed at the upcoming event. Instead, Apple is currently expected to reveal more details about the new versions of iOS, OS X, tvOS and watchOS at the event.

Still, Apple is no stranger to surprise announcements, so even if they aren't advertising the arrival of the new MacBook Pro now, that doesn't rule out the possibility that it will eventually show up once the WWDC gets started.

Other rumors are also hinting at the possibility that Apple may decide to launch the new laptop even before the WWDC gets underway, though given how close the event already is, the tech giant may just decide to wait until the event to finally make the bug announcement.

More news about the MacBook Pro 2016 should be made available very soon.
