More and more details are coming out about the MacBook Pro 2016, and the latest chatter suggests that at least one new feature will indeed be introduced.

This time around, the information about the rumored laptop came via images shared by Cult of Mac.

The photos showing off what looks to be the new laptop reportedly came from an anonymous source who is assumed to be an employee of some sort of one of Apple's China-based manufacturing partners.

Moving on now to what the images actually show off, scanning through them quickly reveals that the keyboard has seemingly been tweaked a bit.

Instead of there being spaces in place for functions keys, it looks like the keyboard will instead feature a cutout above it, and that could be the home of the rumored OLED touch bar.

For those who may not recall, back in May, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo hinted at the possibility that a new OLED touch bar will be featured by the MacBook Pro 2016.

In a note from Kuo obtained by Apple Insider, the analyst indicated that the aforementioned touch bar will take the place of the function keys and also be situated above the keyboard. And now, the new images seem to confirm that the rumored change has indeed been made.

Going back to the images, they also seem to show that the new laptop will feature quite a few USB-C ports. Four USB-C ports in total may be featured by the MacBook Pro 2016, with two each appearing on both sides.

Something that appears to be a headphone jack can also be seen in the images.

It's unclear whether or not the new laptop will offer any other new features, though people may find out soon enough.

As Kuo also noted, the MacBook Pro 2016 may be released in the fourth quarter of the year, and if that is indeed the case, then perhaps additional details about it may be made available in the weeks and months prior to an official launch.
