'Mad Men' season 7 part 2 news, plot rumors and updates: is the end near for Don Draper? blind date time for one character

Matthew Weiner is a man with few words when it comes to "Mad Men" since he and his team have divulged next to nothing about the show. The only aspect of the second part of season seven that is known is that each episode will be like a character's finale episode.

Still, that hasn't stopped speculations and rumors from guessing what could be their favorite character's end. However, the most surprising rumor doing the rounds is that Don Draper may die. iDigital Times notes that in the first episode of the season, during the opening sequence, a suited man is seen falling down. Rumors hint that the man who fell down may be Don and this indicates that he may die. Other hints on the show suggest that he will meet his end because of a tumor. Fans may recall that after Bert Cooper's death, Don got a vision of the man, indicating that he may, in fact, have brain tumor.

However, nothing is confirmed at the moment. Weiner, nevertheless, did say the show will focus on the six central characters, namely, Don, Peggy, Joan, Roger, Peter and Betty. Other rumors suggest that Betty may become a feminist activist since part one of season seven saw her getting angry about the fact that she isn't allowed to disagree with her husband in public. It is no secret that her character has come a long way so becoming a feminist may be a step towards her continual growth.

Meanwhile, Wiener also hinted that Ginsberg is, in fact, mentally ill. He is a delusional schizophrenic and Weiner said he has left ample, but subtle, clues for fans to decipher that.

TVLine reports more spoilers including the fact that a character will go on a blind date, an iconic hosiery product makes its debut, Elizabeth Reaser fills a quite interesting role, at least three series regulars are nowhere to be seen and there will be a debate over who looks the most groovy these days, Stan or Ted.

Viewers should mark Sunday, April 5 10 p.m. ET for the AMC's premier of the second part of "Mad Men".
