'Married at First Sight' season 4 cast, premiere: Two new specialists join series; FYI reportedly made changes to how couples are chosen

"Married at First Sight" is set to return soon with three new pairs of strangers determined to make their marriage work. Two new specialists are also on board to help navigate the tricky shores of matrimony.

The reality show cum social experiment is set to return to FYI on July 26, and while the pairs are being kept a secret, People had already revealed who this season's brides and grooms are.

Season 4's grooms are Tom Wilson, an interior designer specializing in yachts, 32-year-old real estate agent Nick Pendergrast, and former Navy man Derek Schwartz.

Wilson, who lives in a remodeled luxury RV, is looking for someone funny and trustworthy, while Pendergrast is looking for a confident woman to settle down with. Meanwhile, Schwartz is leaving his choice of a lifemate to the show's experts.

As for the brides, viewers will soon be meeting Lilian Vilchez, another real estate agent, social worker Sonia Granados, and 32-year-old flight attendant Heather Seidel.

The 24-year-old Vilchez has focused on her career the last few years but is now ready to settle down with a loyal and loving partner. Granados is looking for a husband who's honest, a good communicator, and one who can make her laugh, while Seidel wants someone who can be her equal in every sense of the word.

A trailer for the upcoming episode gives fans a quick glimpse of the brides. As expected, they all appear nervous; undoubtedly more so than the average bride as their wedding will also be the first time that they will be meeting their husbands. One bride even considered running away from it all. However, it's safe to assume that all three brides will be pushing through with the wedding.

Unfortunately, how long the show's three couples will stay married remains to be seen. After all, the series doesn't exactly have the greatest track record when it comes to strong marriages, with only two of the past three season's nine couples still together today.

In a bid to ensure that the show will have better success in their matchmaking endeavors, two specialists have been called in — Rachel DeAlto and Calvin Roberson. The former is a relationship expert, while the latter is a pastor and marriage counselor. The series has also changed how it matches couples and there will reportedly be more post-wedding counseling for the couples.

"Married at First Sight" season 4's premiere episode will be aired on FYI on July 26 at 8 p.m.
