Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" released a long trailer during the Academy Awards presentation that aired live on ABC. Fans saw a glimpse of the action-packed sequences and Skye's predicament post-transformation in the trailer.

As the show returns on Tuesday, March 2, avid viewers will see the effects of Skye's transformation. Her story will be immediately dealt with as she struggles with managing her newfound powers. The official synopsis of the episode, as reported by TVLine, reveals that Coulson will have a lot on his plate as season two returns. Apart from Skye developing mysterious powers that she cannot handle, her father, Cal, will be out for vengeance against Coulson. A highly dangerous alliance is formed between former agent Ward and Agent 33.

Another threat that Coulson has to deal with is Raina's transformation into an Inhuman. Not only does she now have powers but she's also out for revenge. Bobbi and Mack begin the next phase of their plan and Coulson's team is unaware that a mysterious force is against them. Hunter will make the biggest decision of his life and Hydra will make a dangerous move. If this wasn't enough for Coulson and his team to deal with, the episode's synopsis teases that there is a traitor in S.H.I.E.L.D. Who could this traitor be?

Marvel reports that Cal won't be alone in taking his revenge on Coulson. He will be joined by actress Drea de Matteo who plays Karla Faye Gideon. She is a gifted woman who will join forces with Cal due to a grudge against S.H.I.E.L.D. Another TVLine report suggests that actress Jaimie Alexander will be reprising her role as Thor's Lady Sif. However, she may not be friendly, having lost all her short-term memory. But the report does indicate that she will add some humor to the season.

Watch Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" on March 3 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
