'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release updates: EA assures gameplay trailer is coming soon

(Mass Effect Official)Fans continue to wait for the release of "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" gameplay trailer.

The trailer for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" which was released last June at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) got fans excited. However, the lack of gameplay details and scenes somehow made the players disappointed and concerned about the progress of the game's production.

The disappointment didn't end there though because the game trailer was not showcased during Electronic Arts' presentation at the ongoing 2016 Gamescom event. But EA Studios executive vice president Patrick Soderlund, in an interview with Game Informer, gave an assurance that this hotly anticipated trailer will soon be released.

Soderlund even said that he had already "played through the first three hours of the game" and described it to be "very playable." Apart from Soderlund, BioWare producer Michael Gamble has also spent time with the game and is pretty much excited about the outcome. Recently, he even posted on Twitter about the experience. "Now at the part of the project where I stop playing other games, and only play our game, every day for months. It's incredible," Gamble's tweet read.

To further ease fans' concerns, Soderlund also assured them that game development is on track, saying that the delay in the release of the trailer is due to EA wanting to find the "right type of exposure" given at the right time for the game.

At the moment, EA Studios are focused on the big game titles slated to release this year, which include "Titanfall 2" and "Battlefield 1." The new games should be released between October and December. Soderlund also mentioned that the studio will first focus their attention on these games before they go to "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

GameRant speculates that the reveal date for other "Mass Effect: Andromeda" details, and possibly the gameplay trailer, will be on Nov. 7 or N7 Day, a commemoration of the military force N7 of the game.
