'Mass Effect: Andromeda' release rumors: Game hyped before arrival in early 2017

(Facebook/Mass Effect: Andromeda)EA is focused on its upcoming game releases this year rather than hyping up "Mass: Effect Andromeda," which is slated for a first quarter release in 2017.

After it was initially thought that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be released within the year, the game has been pushed back to a later release schedule, which is within the first quarter of 2017. While it's true that not much about the game is known at this point in time, it is believed, though, more will be revealed about it to herald its arrival in the first quarter of 2017.

It has been learned that Electronic Arts (EA) and Bioware did not release new teasers for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" in the recently concluded Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. However, it has been learned that EA Studios Head Patrick Soderlund has announced at the said event that they are planning to release new game footages of the game some time later as they are still busy with the other games that are slated for a release this year.

While it's true that Soderlund did not specify as to when exactly the new footages will be released, it is suspected that it will just be in time for its arrival, allegedly, in the first quarter of 2017. After all, hyping up the game around the same time of the studio's upcoming releases may be bad for those that will be released, such as "Titan Fall 2," as "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may outshine them.

Meanwhile, it has also been learned that EA is contemplating on coming up with the re-mastered versions of the "Mass Effect" series of games as the publisher has realized there is a market demand for which.

"There were some that did it before, but I think there is even more clear evidence that this is something that people really want. The honest answer is that we are absolutely actively looking at it. I can't announce anything today, but you can expect us most likely to follow our fellow partners in Activision and other companies that have done this successfully," Soderlund said in an interview with Game Informer.

More news and updates on "Mass Effect: Andromeda" should arrive soon.
