Mercedes-Benz V-Class news: Luxury MPV gains Exclusive trim that brings in new design features and standard equipment

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the Exclusive trim for its luxury MPV, the V-Class. The Exclusive trim gives the V-Class a new design and a range of standard equipment that further enhances style and comfort.

"With the V-Class EXCLUSIVE we are enriching our model range to include a deisgn and equipement line that represents the pinnacle in our portolio with its particular exclusivity and unrivaled comfort. Thus, we can meet the requirements of discerning automobile customers who truly appreciate having lots of space," said Volker Mornhinweg, Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans.

The Exclusive trim brings silver chrome accents to the air vents, DINAMICA in black or porcelain to the roof liner and leather with topstitching to the dashboard. The trim also features leather-covered armrests, comfortable seats with either black or silk beige Nappa leather upholstery and a sports pedal in brushed aluminum.

The Exclusive trim introduces new features like the panoramic sliding sunroof and large center console with padded armrests. There is also a refrigerated compartment and LED-illuminated thermo-cupholders. Driver's seat with ventilation, 19-inch alloy wheels and the Burmester surround sound system with 16 speakers have also been added to provide top-class comfort. The V-Class will also feature "EXCLUSIVE" badging on the front.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class in Exclusive also comes with a new sports suspension and 17-inch braking system. Standard driver assistance features include Attention Assist, Crosswind Assist and Active Parking Assist with a 360-degree camera.

Starting June 2016, customers can also purchase the Mercedes Me Connect for the V-Class. With the Me Connect services, drivers will be able to connect their smartphones, tablets and other electronic devices. Basic services include the emergency call system; accident, maintenance and breakdown management and vehicle remote diagnosis. Optional features include live traffic information and remote online services.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class Exclusive trim will be making its world premiere at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The V-Class Exclusive trim is also now available to order in Germany for €73,911, which is about $83,000.
