Michael Schumacher health condition news 2016: F1 racing champ's health condition still elusive

Despite the request of seven-time Formula One titlist Michael Schumacher's family for a complete media blackout, recent updates regarding his health condition have managed to surface.

Reports have indicated that Schumacher's family has reached out to top-notch neurological doctors in Europe and in the United States in order for his treatment to continue despite the mounting expenses this might incur. The publication also added that the F1 champ is getting a daily massage while "taking the help of an expensive medical machinery" to assist him to breathe throughout the night. The statement might have led some to believe that the embattled icon is currently on life support.

Moreover, the F1 driver is also believed to be showing some "small encouraging signs" as his family thrives with "hope" and "love" as they try to get through the experience.

Further, Michael Schumacher's extensive rehabilitation program is still ongoing at a secured medical facility that is located in Geneva, Switzerland. The victor is currently under the care of a team which comprises of 15 medical experts who are spearheaded by Professor Jean-Francois Payen.

German-born racing driver Michael Schumacher figured to a harrowing skiing incident nearly two years ago. Dubbed as the most successful Formula One racing driver, Schumacher has attained multiple world championships in 1994, 1995, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. He finally retired on 2012 after making a comeback in 2010.

Ever since the incident in 2013, little has been known regarding the true health condition of one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time.
