Michael Schumacher latest update: Schumacher family selling F1 racing legend's Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon

Has the ongoing treatment of Michael Schumacher finally caused financial woes to his family? This is the question asked by the fans of the Formula 1 (F1) racing legend after it has been reported that the Schumacher family is selling the Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon of the F1 icon for a hefty amount of $133 million.

Road and Track says that Scumacher's said vehicle has been listed for sale. Although some people may think that the price tag it carries may be too much as the Mercedes is already 18 years old, sources opine that the price is actually reasonable as Schumacher's first-podium winning F1 car was recently sold for nearly $1.8 million.

Road and Track believes that the listing is legit, and the Mercedes wagon can, indeed, be a property of Schumacher. While the writer believes that it can be sold at the declared price, especially to those who wish to own a part of Schumacher's history, it would stay listed for a while unless the price is reduced.

With this, speculations that the Schumacher family is now in the red have been re-ignited. After all, it was reported two years ago that the family was spending more than $100,000 weekly for the treatment of Schumacher, which covers the expenses for his medications and the professional fees of the medical experts attending to him.

At this point in time, the Schumacher family has maintained their position not to divulge the health condition of the F1 legend to the public. In a recent event attended by Schumacher's manager, Sabina Kehm, the media failed to gather even a single piece of solid information on how the racing legend is faring in his treatment.

"We all know that I cannot comment," said Kehm during the launch of the F1 drivers' charity football match earlier this month.

Schumacher figured in a skiing accident in Meribel in December 2013 that had his head seriously injured.
