New rumors about the release of the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 are doing the rounds as Microsoft continues to offer attractive discounts on the Surface Pro 3 before it releases the Windows 10 in the coming summer. The Surface Pro 3 is available with an attractive discount for users in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and is now listed with a price cut of up to $150 on the Microsoft Store. Interested customers can not only save up to $150 off the price of a Surface Pro 3, but also get a free protective sleeve with their purchase.

Microsoft is offering the 128 GB/Intel i5 — 1.9 GHz Surface Pro 3 for $899, or $100 off its regular price. The 256 GB/Intel i5 — 1.9 GHz Surface Pro 3 is now priced at $1,149, or $150 off its regular price. The 256 GB / Intel i7 - 1.7 GHz Surface Pro 3 is priced at $1,399, or $150 off its regular price, while the 512 GB /Intel i7 — 1.7 GHz Surface Pro 3 is available for $1,799. Microsoft is also providing a free protective case with the purchase of any Surface Pro 3 model. Microsoft is also running another offer that offers up to $300 discount on the Surface Pro 3 bundle.

The Surface Pro is considered to be the ultimate laptop/hybrid tablet and had received the "best tablet" award at the Mobile World Congress earlier this month. There had been rumors earlier that the next Surface Pro 4 would be a huge leap from the current Surface Pro 3.

Media reports had indicated that Microsoft had fixed a release date of July 2015 for the Surface Pro 4 and would be announcing the launch date at a suitable event. There were also rumors that the Surface Pro 4 will be launched in the market with Windows 10 onboard.

Microsoft continues to maintain silence about the details and release of the Surface Pro 4. But the company's decision to recently slash prices of the Surface Pro 3 indicates that it could soon release the next-generation tablet.
