A few days ago it was revealed that "Monster Hunter X" read as "Monster Hunter Cross" would be coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan this year. However, as with other games in the series there are indications that Capcom could bring the game to the United States.

The previous entry in the gaming series landed in February of this year on the Nintendo 3DS and it was titled "Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate". Importantly, since it released in February for a western audience, the game has sold over one million copies and this will be one reason why Capcom could rush the creation of "Monster Hunter X" for the North American market.

However, Capcom did not set a date when the game would arrive in North America but if they follow the same pattern that they used for "Monster Hunter 4" the game could only release in 2017. "Monster Hunter 4" released in Japan in 2013 and then it was re-released as "Monster Hunter 4: G" after which it was recreated as "Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate" for the European and North American Market.

After the release date in Japan was announced along with a trailer, other details of the game started to surface on various gaming sites. These details pointed towards "Monster Hunter X" giving gamers the ability to create their own attack styles for weapons and customize hunts thanks to features that are included in "Hunting Maneuvers X Hunting Style". Also four unique styles will be provided to players and each will come with special moves.

IGN also revealed that "Monster Hunter X" is being built with the engine used to create the game "Monster Hunter 4G" and classes will include special attacks. Action in the game is going to be centered on Beruna a village that is located at the foothills mountain range and in addition four villages from earlier games in the series will make an appearance along with four flagship monsters one of which lives underwater.
