With "Dancing with the Stars" starting off the battle for the Mirror Ball Trophy in just a little more than two weeks, more and more celebrities are being confirmed to compete. The latest to join the reality dancing competition are a married couple, the Queen of Funk, and a Vine celebrity.

Earlier this week, "Good Morning America" announced three celebrity names who will vie for the Mirror Ball Trophy in season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars." Officially joining them are couples Alexa Vega and Carlos Pena, Chaka Khan, and Vine's Hayes Grier.

For the first time in the history of ABC's long-running reality competition, a married couple will be battling it out on the dance floor. Alexa Vega and Carlos Pena said "I do" in Jan. 4, 2014 and they found themselves saying those two words again when they were asked to do "DWTS."

Pena said he wanted to do the show for an opportunity to work with his wife, albeit they will be partnered with different dancing professionals. Vega, on the other hand, said that despite being competitors, she is still rooting for her husband.

The iconic, Chaka Khan, is also all set to temporarily leave the microphone behind and don her dancing shoes. The 70's Queen of Funk will leave her comfort zone — singing — and partner with one of the dance professionals for the weekly dance-offs.

The 62-year0old singer, who was also once the frontwoman for Rufus, took to Twitter once the official announcement was made and asked her fans to root for her.

Fans of the 15-year-old Hayes Grier did root for the online sensation. Shortly after he made it known on Twitter that he will be competing in the new season of "DWTS," his fans immediately made "#HayesDWTS" one of the trending topics.

Grier shot to fame with his YouTube and Vine videos. His Vine account currently has 3.5 million followers and his Twitter account has 2 million.
