For the past months, fans have been busy digging around "Mortal Kombat X" and the possible characters who might be added to the game via the next DLC pack. As expected, Spawn is still a mass favorite, while a new and rather familiar face has also been added.

Earlier this month, game creator Ed Boon asked fans to give his team an idea of what they want to be released next. In a poll, Boon gave gamers three options to choose from: Kombat Pack 3, Mortal Kombat X 2, and Shaolin Monks 2.

Boon himself was shocked at the results as players opted for Kombat Pack 3 among the choices given. Though he didn't follow up on the topic after tweeting the results, fans are expecting their voices to be heard regarding the entry of a new Kombat Pack.

As mentioned, Spawn is still one of the most favored characters as many people have been requesting for him to added to the new DLC releases. According to Christian Today, rumor has it that NetherRealm Studios has already been allowed by character creator Todd McFarlane to use Spawn.

While the report has not been confirmed yet, players are continuously hoping for Spawn's entry into the hit game.

Over the past months, there have been famous outsider names which gamers around the world have been trying to insert into the list of possible playable characters, but probably the most prominent name ever mentioned is that of The Joker of "Injustice: Gods Among Us."

According to The Christian Times, there is buzz online regarding the iconic name's addition to Kombat Pack 3. The Joker is a very popular and beloved title in the comic books and movie world so it isn't surprising that he is also starting to take the gaming realm by fire.

NetherRealms has not commented on the matter so fans will just have to wait if Boon and the team will finally decide to insert Spawn and The Joker in Kombat Pack 3 when it releases.
