Moto X and Moto G deals: Motorola Offers buy back promos

Motorola India has rolled out an exciting promo for their smartphones in celebration of Republic Day.

For five days, Motorola is giving away cash-back offers and huge discounts for the Moto G and Moto X models. The offer runs from January 19 to 23. During this period, customers who buy a Moto G can get as much as Rs 4,000 off while those who wish to purchase a Moto X can enjoy up to Rs 6,000 in exchange for their old smartphones. Those buying the Moto 360 will get a free Motorola Bluetooth Headset.

The buyback offer isn't the only thing that will get people excited. The smartphone company is also doing a cash-back offer for its loyal customers.

The promo lets customers take advantage of a 10% cash-back for every minimum purchase of Rs 7,500 using their HDFC credit and debit cards. Motorola will give as much as Rs 2,000 cash-back for each transaction.

It's just a year since Motorola launched in India its line of smartphones and other wearable devices exclusively through Flipkart. The company is now ready to take over another region in Asia: China.

The 2nd Generation Motorola Moto G and Moto X have just been certified in China and is slated to be officially announced on January 26. Thanks to the acquisition by Lenovo, the smartphone company will now have a presence in the Chinese market.

It's going to unveil three smartphone models: Moto X, Moto G and Moto X Pro.

Moto G will have dual-SIM capability, 5-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 SoC. It also comes with 8 and 2-megapixel cameras.

The Moto X will have a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB internal storage and 13 and 2-megapixel cameras. This comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Moto X Pro is basically the Nexus 6 that's powered with Motorola's software.
