A big change is coming to coffee lovers this fall season as Starbucks recently unveiled its newest fall flavor. The Toasted Graham Latte is Starbucks' new fall flavor and is said to be inspired by something that we all love – leftover cereal milk.

The toasted graham latte is the coffee chain's first new fall espresso drink in four years and is described to be a combination of "graham and sweet cream meet steamed milk" plus Starbucks' signature espresso topped with sprinkles of cinnamon graham crumbles.

In other words, the toasted graham latte tastes like cereal milk — that creamy leftovers from one's breakfast cereal bowl — but "less sweet," something that some coffee lovers will like since they can really taste the espresso. And since it's being billed as less sweet, some are thinking it might be healthier than the pumpkin spice latte.

However, bear in mind that this "less sweet" drink still packs 40 grams of sugar, and that's in the 16-ounce version with two percent milk. But it is admittedly better than the 50 grams of sugar found in the previous fall drink favorite.

According to Starbucks' R&D manager Yoke Wong, they took into consideration the season's tradition of going back to school. They also looked at the latest trends in food and beverages and spent a year testing and tweaking the drink before they were able to perfect it.

But lovers of the pumpkin spice latte should not fear as their favorite drink is not going anywhere. It will still be available at your nearest Starbucks.

Aside from unveiling its new fall flavor, the popular café is also releasing its new, limited-edition fall coffee cups. Like the Christmas coffee cups, these new cups are designed for the autumn season, with leaves, berries and pine cones.

Starbucks has also released its mobile ordering app, for those people who don't have the time to stand in line and wait half an hour to get their coffee fix. With the app, coffee lovers can just place their customized order and pick it up in the nearest Starbucks.
