Launched just earlier this month, the game already received its patch to fix game issues and improve gameplay performance. The new patch was deployed last week for PC/Steam players.

The highlight of the update is the improved performance in the personal computer (PC) version of the game. Other fixes include a "return to Default" option included in the Keyboard Settings menu, tweaks in the language options and audio changes, particularly Ino Yamanaka (Great Ninja War) getting a voice-over once the player gets to the winner screen.

As for the Xbox One and PlayStation versions of the game, no reports about a poor gameplay experience have been made. The game seems to be working smoothly for the consoles.

Meanwhile, the developers will be dropping "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4's" first ever downloadable content (DLC) pack since its February release. The news was posted on Naruto Video Games' official Twitter page.

"The 1st DLC for #NarutoStorm4 will be available on 08/03 for Season Pass owners and 15/03 for purchase alone!" the announcement reads.

Even though a date has already been announced, many fans are quite disappointed since they initially thought that they'd be getting the DLC pack this week.

The initial report that the DLC pack will arrive on Feb. 23 came from a GameStop flyer, Attack of the Fanboy reported; but it appeared to be wrong. Nevertheless, it won't be such a long wait for fans.

The first DLC pack for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 DLC" will include one scenario that lasts for three hours, four combination secret technique, one item set, one costume, ten ninja info cards, 10 costumes featured in previous games, and 10 matching voices.

Bandai Namco already revealed that they will drop a total of three DLC packs for the game. Fans should expect all of them in the months to come.
