'NBA 2K17' release date delayed due to some team roster changes

(2K)2K Games' "NBA 2K17" will be out on September 20.

Come September 20 and NBA fans will finally get their hands on the latest offering from game developer 2K, "NBA 2K17." Nevertheless, there are now reports suggesting that the title might come out on a later date due to some team roster changes that happened in the league just recently.

It's a known fact now by National Basketball Association (NBA) fans that league superstars Dwyane "The Flash" Wade has already signed up with the Chicago Bulls, while Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunders will be playing with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA's 2016-17 season.

Having this said, reports suggest that with these recent updates within the league, "NBA 2K17's" development might be influenced somehow and could result in a delay with the game's release. However, the game developer has yet to confirm these rumors that have been going on.

In the meantime, pre-orders for "NBA 2K17" is still ongoing and as previously reported, those who will be availing of this will get the game four days ahead of the scheduled release date, not to mention the pre-order package that comes with it that will contain three booster packs with a guaranteed Paul George card and 5,000 worth of virtual currency (VC). In addition, the mentioned freebies will depend on what version of the game the fans will be pre-ordering.

Furthermore, Ronnie Singh from "NBA 2KTV" mentioned several new features of the upcoming game. He said that "NBA 2K17" will feature modes such as underwater basketball and mascot wars. Singh also added that the forthcoming title will feature the latest Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 basketball shoe and the returning face-scanning app that was considered by many as a failure when it was introduced in the game in 2015. Moreover, he also mentioned timed locker codes for players within the game that can be unlocked for a limited time period and used during gameplay. 

As reported earlier, "NBA 2K17" will be out on September 20.
