It is already common knowledge that this will be Michael Weatherly's (who portrays Tony DiNozzo) last season for the police hit series, "NCIS." However, there are speculations on how he will say goodbye - will he be killed off or will he submit his resignation?

If last week's episode was a surprise, Weatherly said that the finale episode of "NCIS" season 13 will, in no way, be less shocking. In fact, he said that he had been just as surprised as anyone else when they shot the final episodes.

Whatever the ending will be, he said that his character's relationship with Ziva David, his rumored lover and fellow agent and who is portrayed by Cote de Pablo, will play a big part in how he will exit from the show. He added that if David was not there in the final episode, viewers will still feel her presence.

He also said via Deadline that the last episodes has revealed a part of DiNozzo that he was not even aware of in the past 13 seasons he has played the character. He said that he did not see any hint of DiNozzo in the final scene and described it by saying,  "It's more likely that DiNozzo would give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation than what he does in that last scene." 

Aside from the spoilers he revealed, Weatherly also shared why he decide to leave the show, saying that although he liked his character, he doesn't want to be second best forever. 

With those revelations, Weatherly also extends an invitation to all "NCIS" fans to watch the finale episode and to possibly call "whoever you need to call at work on Wednesday" because not only will it be an exciting time, but they might have flu-like symptoms the next day from watching the finale episode.

His final episode of "NCIS," titled "Family First," will be aired on Tuesday, May 17 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
