(Facebook/NCIS)The squad will take another interesting case in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."

Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team will take on a case involving a congresswoman in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."

In the episode titled "Pay to Play," the synopsis (as per CarterMatt) reveals that Congresswoman Jenna Flemming (Mary Stuart Masterson) has been receiving death threats. As the situation steadily gets out of hand, the NCIS will be tapped to guard her and find out who wants her dead. They need to investigate every aspect of the politician's life to find potential suspects. Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) wants his agents to take the case very seriously. He will temporarily arrange protection detail for the congresswoman. Will this be enough to keep her alive?

Last episode, the NCIS solved a murder involving a Navy chaplain. He was in a car crash but their investigation revealed he was already dead before the incident happened. A preliminary probe pointed to a suspected terrorist as the culprit, but the man has been behind bars for a decade. Later on, it was revealed that the chaplain found out that people from his religious group had been pilfering money meant for charities. Because he knew the truth, they had to kill him and made it look like an accident.

Aside from the murder case, the fans finally met Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) new boyfriend. Her siblings surprised her for Thanksgiving, but what they really wanted to do was interrogate her about her love life. It has not been long since Bishop separated from her ex-husband Jake (Jamie Bamber). She caught him cheating on her. Her brothers John (Jesse Bradford), Robert (Jesse Johnson) and George (Ryan Doom) could feel she was in love again. Bishop was apprehensive about admitting she was dating but Gibbs told her it did not matter. Later on, she brought Qasim Naasir (Rafi Silver) to meet her siblings.

"NCIS" season 14 episode 9 airs on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
