'NCIS' season 14 premiere spoilers: Nick shows Gibbs he is as sharp and as dangerous as before

Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will have a tough time managing the "charismatic loose cannon" on his team in the upcoming season of "NCIS."

The squad will surely miss Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) in the new installment since he decided to quit from the force to be a full-time dad to his daughter with Ziva David (Cote de Pablo). Although Tony will not be around anymore, the old-timers will get to meet three new additions in their ranks. They already know MI6 Officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry) from the previous operation. Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) and Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) are the new faces they will soon work with in season 14.

Recently, Valderrama revealed during the San Diego Comic-Con that his character would not be easy to get along with. Nick, a deep undercover agent, is used to working alone. Being on a team will be a challenge to him, as well as having a boss to communicate with. It is no wonder that he is already giving Gibbs a difficult time. The actor (as per Enstarz) hinted that the others would have to be extra patient when dealing with Nick.

"We've already gotten into each other's faces in one of the scenes. I can't tell you much about it, but Gibbs and I are butting heads already. There's something that's going to happen, but we already have like a little father/son kind of thing. I'm the black sheep of the family so far," the actor said.

Meanwhile, the first three episode titles of the new season have been revealed, with the first one simply tagged as "Rogue." Speculations claim that the eponym pertains to Nick, since his temperament will likely cause problems for the group. It is up to him to show the others that Gibbs did not make a mistake in hiring him.

Already, Valderrama said (as per The Inquisitr) that he has been working like "crazy" for the first episode. Fans will reportedly see Nick shoot someone off a speeding motorcycle in the premiere.

"NCIS" season 14 premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
