After a two week break, "NCIS: New Orleans" season two is back with a brand new episode. The upcoming Christmas episode will find Wade and Pride on opposing ends as Danny gets caught in a criminal investigation.

Loretta Wade's (CCH Pounder) decision to adopt Danny (Christopher Meyer) and his brother has certainly changed her life, something that she admitted to Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) in episode three, "Touched by the Sun." Now Wade has to decide how she can support her son while still allowing justice to take its course.

According to a "TV Guide" synopsis for episode 11, evidence from several Christmas burglaries that turned deadly led the "NCIS" team to Wade's son, Danny.

The trailer for the episode, appropriately titled "Blue Christmas," shows Wade's struggle as both a mother and Pride's friend. The clip starts with a shot of Pride's team having a party and apparently enjoying the holidays. This was quickly followed by a scene of a crime in progress, with a person wearing a Santa suit and a mask robbing a store. A woman is on the floor and tied up.

It appears that the police have found a suspect and Wade's son is shown being arrested, with Pride telling him the stolen goods in his possession has been connected to a murder. Wade talks to her son in jail and Pride tells her he's trying to help him. The trailer ends with lines being drawn, as the coroner informs Pride that her son won't be saying anything without talking to a lawyer first.

One thing that has made "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" the power house they are today is the chemistry between the characters and their back stories, and "New Orleans" is no different. The previous episode, "Billy and the Kid," gave fans a glimpse of La Salle's (Lucas Black) past. Now viewers will see a different side of Wade, not as the cool and deadly efficient coroner of Jefferson Parish but as a mother.

Episode 11 of "NCIS: New Orleans" will be aired on Dec. 11.
