The recently unveiled NES Classic Edition of Japanese video game company Nintendo is without a doubt a charm in itself, boasting mostly of its parent's identical specifications. But while its original console, the Nintendo Entertainment System, is dubbed as the single greatest video game console in history, its classic edition at the moment is lacking a little bit of information in terms of its features.

That is now all changed as details of its features have surfaced courtesy of a translated French-language radio show. Canadian Nintendo representative Julie Gagnon has detailed that the NES Classic Edition will be boasting a multitude of display options. Gagnon was quoted, "There will be different modes of how you will see the screen — a mode simulating the retro aspect of our old CRT screens, there will be a mode which can be at the resolution of the modern screens in 4:3 format, and a pixel perfect mode which will display each pixel as a square, so people can have fun with this too."

For the uninitiated, the pixel perfect mode will enable the users' viewing devices such as a modern HD TV with sharper, more crisp look from games or tracks which sport boxider pixels. This option is truly contemporary as consumers are provided the alternative, whether to experience the games retro-style or play them with a modernized approach.

Apart from its pre-installed 30 NES titles and its capacity to play 8-bit classics on the user's HD TV, the console will also provide players with permanent save options along with a temporary, instant save feature that will allow gamers to capture it quickly and restore the game's state whenever the user chooses to be away from the device.

Nintendo's NES Classic Edition will be hitting the shelves on Nov. 11.
