Fans of one of the most successful franchises in animation are raging about the trailer  for the new Dragon Ball Z film entitled Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: F Is For Fukkatsu or resurrection).

Last month, concept art of the new Dragon Ball Z movie circulated via the leaked January 2015 issues of Shueisha V Jump Magazine. The leak contained battle of Gods antihero, Beerus. Super villain Fierza will also be featured in Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F.

Beerus and Fierza are the menacing buddies. Beerus was also featured in the previous Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

The one-minute footage presents a brand new story, where Sorbet and Torma, part of Fierza's notorious army, arrive on the planet. The objective of their visit is to capture the Dragon Ball that will resurrect Fierza.

Recent reports have it that Director Tadayoshi Yamamuro is reportedly taking the lead in the movie's animation.

The synopsis of the movie reads:

"An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, the 'F' that plans its revenge against the Saiyans is revived...!"

Famous game designer Akira Toriyama also unwrapped two new characters, Sorbet and Tagoma, which will be included in the movie that will premiere in Japanese theatres on April 18, 2015, both in 2D and 3D. Incidentally, the date falls during Japan's Golden Week.

The success of Dragon Ball Z stemmed from the television series that ran for seven years (1996 to 2003). The storyline basically revolves around Goku, the strongest fighter on the planet, who is being taunted by evil villains. Goku is seen as a superhero protecting mankind from extinction.

There is no confirmation, however, if the new Dragon Ball Z movie will hit theaters in the United States.
