Latest news suggest that the Nexus 5 2015, rumored to be more of a powerhouse than a beautiful device, is going to be manufactured by LG.

AndroidPit reports that LG is going to manufacture the upcoming Nexus 5 2015, the upcoming mobile handset from Google. According to their source, "LG will build the upcoming Nexus smartphone, but it will be based on an unreleased prototype." The anonymous source also states that the device is currently under development and said "that LG would not base the 2015 Nexus on the company's current flagship, the LG G4."

Up until now, many have speculated that the obvious blueprint for the next flagship from Google is the LG G4. However, the upcoming Nexus 5 2015 is going to be an entirely new device in terms of design and specs, as the report on AndroidPit suggests.

Meanwhile, another circulating rumor regarding the next flagship suggests that the Nexus 5 2015 is currently being codenamed as "Bullhead," as stated on Android Police. "Bullhead" is said to come with a 5.2-inch and a battery of 2700mAh. As for the memory capacity and the ARM chip, Android Police clearly states that it "is not completely decided" yet. However, it is revealed that LG is reportedly planning to go with the Snapdragon 808 for the processor, which is exactly the same hexa-core chip present in the LG G4.

No rumors about the cost, as well as the release date of the Nexus 5 2015 or "Bullhead" have surfaced. Although, Yibada reports that one rumor suggests that the Nexus 5 2015 will likely get a launch date sometime in September 2015, right around the same time of the release of the next Android operating system, Android M.

Of course, these are still rumors and the companies involved might still change a few of the device's details. As always, take it with a grain of salt for now until Google and LG release an official announcement.
