Nike's Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan XXX, the 30th anniversary shoe inspired by the many triumphs and achievements of legendary NBA player Michael Jordan. The Air Jordan XXX will also be released 30 years after the first edition was released back in 1985.

The Air Jordan XXX was designed in collaboration with famed designer Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith. In terms of design, the upcoming anniversary basketball shoe comes with elements chronicling Jordan's history and evolution as a basketball player.

"The Air Jordan XXX is a unique synthesis of Jordan's evolution as a player and a design collaborator," Nike said in a press release.

Hatfield was also inspired by Jordan's numerous basketball achievements and the Air Jordan XXX's concept art was transformed into a basketball net with stars, signaling Jordan's many talents.

The Air Jordan XXX looks timeless but also comes with the latest shoe trends. It comes with an elephant print and a carbon fiber color scheme. The basketball shoes have a sleek and slick silhouette and the ideal height and dimensions.

The "XXX" graphic wraps around the heel of the shoe and extends to the front. Like other Air Jordans, the XXX comes with a smooth toe with the classic Jumpman logo.

The outer sole also comes with a new traction system with a herringbone pattern and 3D rendering. According to Hatfield, the revolutionary design of the sole was inspired by Jordan's words – "Excellence is never second place."

The Air Jordan XXX also uses a proprietary mix of materials for its upper including woven, knit and printed materials. The ankle and shoe interiors were made with soft and breathable knit material. In order to create a perfect fit, Hatfield ensured that the heels will be adequately supported. The Air Jordan XXX comes with a knit cradle in the heel.

The Air Jordan XXX will be released worldwide on Feb. 12, 2016 online at Jordan.com and at select retail stores. It is priced at $200.
