Nintendo NX news: 'Yo-Kai Watch' and other kiddy games may rease on next-gen Nintendo console, according to Level-5

Level-5, the developer of the popular kid's game "Yo-Kai Watch," have recently shared their thoughts of expanding some of their titles to Nintendo's Wii U or even better yet, the company's highly rumored and much awaited next-gen console, the Nintendo NX.

During a recent brief interview with Level-5 Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Akihiro Hino with IGN, he told the source that if the company will develop a game specifically for the Wii U, he would "definitely want to proactively consider it."

So far though, the only closest title that Level-5 had made for Nintendo's console is the collaborative game with Ubisoft that is a "Yo-Kai Watch"-themed dance game dubbed as "Yo-Kai Watch Dance: Just Dance Special Edition" for the current console Wii U, which is being expected to be available this coming December 2015.

As for the next-gen console Nintendo NX, however, Hino has also expressed his interest for the upcoming gaming rig—that is if the said platform can "bring Level-5 games to as many kids as possible," he said.

In addition to that, the CEO also believes that the other popular kids' franchise, Nintendo's "Pokemon," as well as the company's "Yo-Kai Watch" can also co-exist with each other peacefully. "If kids are willing to buy both of them, I couldn't be happier," the CEO told IGN.

Furthermore, according to IGN, it seems like there's a good possibility that fans will get to see several Level-5 game titles on Nintendo's upcoming next-gen console, Nintendo NX.

However, since the console is still being developed and has not yet been officially unveiled to the public, it's best for fans to keep an open-mind for the time being until both companies make an announcement for the hardware as well as the game titles.

Nintendo NX is expected to become available in the market sometime 2016, as the latest rumors suggest, as reported on IGN last month.
