The return of ABC's fantasy fairytale series, "Once Upon a Time," is still roughly a month away but fans are more than excited to see Emma turn into the Dark Swan. And those who absolutely cannot wait, will have to make do with the first minute and a half of season five's pilot episode.

TVLine just posted a sneak peek of the first few seconds of the first episode for "Once Upon a Time" season five. It looks like the pilot will pick up right where season four left its fans, with Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) merging with the darkness and morphing into the Dark One.

But after the dagger falls into the ground, Emma is nowhere to be seen. Regina (Lana Parrilla) calls Emma stupid and Emma's parents, Mary (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David (Josh Dallas), remind her that it was Emma's way of saving the goodness in her heart.

Emma's knight in shining armor, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), tries to bring her back by commanding the dagger. But Emma still does not return. After Hook declares that he can summon the Dark One "from any corner of the world" using the dagger, Regina poses the problem: "She is not in this world."

Speaking of knight, "Once Upon a Time" goes to Camelot in the upcoming season. King Arthur and his wife, Queen Guinivere, will be making an appearance and will be portrayed by Liam Garrigan and Joana Metrass. Stepping in between them for a possible love triangle is Lancelot (Sinqua Walls).

Den of Geek also reported that the previously-uncast Merlin is now going to be played by British actor, Elliot Knight. Merlin is going to be an important character in the fifth season as he is supposedly the key to completely stopping the Darkness.

"Once Upon a Time" returns with season five on ABC this Sept. 27.
