"Once Upon a Time" season 6 is only less than a month away, which means heaps of promos and teasers are bound to crop up. The upcoming season will see the heroes of Storybrooke enter the Land of Untold Stories and explore what lies ahead. But what does that mean? For Emma, it means going back to savior mode.

Avid fans can recall that season 1 started with Emma trying to help as many people as she can. Creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz revealed that season 6 will channel the tone they adopted from the very beginning.

"It's really Emma and the Yellow Bug, riding around helping people, which is what we wanted to come back to this year," Kitsis teased to TVLine. Additionally, they also shed some light on what untold stories really are in the world of "Once Upon a Time." 

"It is a story that has yet to play out," Kitsis explained. "You're going to see that a lot of people went to the Land of Untold Stories because they wanted to literally push 'pause,' like they were watching their own life on TiVo."

Horowitz further elaborated on these untold stories. "What happens to some of these stories if they don't quite finish the way we thought they did, and were suspended midstream? And what would make characters want to suspend their stories?" he teased.

When the new season premieres, fans will not only be treated to a new setting — they will also see some new faces, including Captain Nemo's. For those who are unfamiliar, Captain Nemo is a character from "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" and, according to Entertainment Weekly, Faran Tahir has been tapped to bring the captain to life. 

It was previously reported that the characters of Aladdin and Jafar had been cast as well, with Deniz Akdeniz and Oded Fehr respectively playing the roles. A teaser trailer had also been released featuring both characters. As if that wasn't exciting enough, a season 6 promo clip has also been made public.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 premieres on Sept. 25 on ABC.
