Robin Hood fans should rejoice, as "Once Upon a Time" season 6 will see the return of Sean Maguire's fan favorite character. But that doesn't mean that he'll be rising from his grave anytime soon.

Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis broke the news to Entertainment Weekly. The previous season saw Maguire's character get killed off, but "Once Upon a Time" won't be performing a miracle with Robin Hood. He may appear in some other form, perhaps through a flashback. However, the two executive producers did not reveal how they plan to incorporate the character in the current season.

"We're thrilled to have Sean back for this story arc and are excited for the audience to see what we have planned, which in the wake of his character's heartbreaking demise, is something we hope is unexpected and surprising," they said to the publication.

As for the upcoming episode 2 of season 6, titled "A Bitter Draught," fans will see more of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). She will attempt to convince Zelena (Rebecca Mader) to take her side, but it remains to be seen whether it is successful. Meanwhile, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) will help Belle (Emilie de Ravin) look for a place to hide so that Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) won't get to her. Emma (Jennifer Morrison) tells Archie (Raphael Sbarge) about her vision during their therapy sessions. Finally, David (Josh Dallas), Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Regina will band together to handle a new threat in the form of a mysterious man who has connections to the Evil Queen.

Speaking of David and Snow, it has also been revealed that the two will try to find normalcy in the lives that they lead. Speaking with TVLine, Horowitz said that the royal couple will want to search for a normal life and discover their own "happily ever after."

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
