According to reports, Saitama, a.k.a. One Punch Man, will not have an underwhelming season when the anime returns. The upcoming season will come with new powerful villains. More importantly, they are expected to pack a punch. If Saitama is lucky, it will take more than one punch to defeat his alleged opponents. Since reports claim that the superhero will be acquiring new skills this season, it could either usher in an exciting season or another underwhelming season for Saitama.

The titular character will reportedly take on an entire organization of baddies, the Monster Association, which is being led by Psykos, one of the higher-ranking villains in the entire series. Aside from its already stunning roster of powerful opponents, the society will be enlisting Garou into its ranks.

One of Saitama's opponents next season will be Bang, a.k.a. Silver Fang's former star pupil, Garou. Based on the manga, Garou has acquired several new techniques, one of which is the Water Stream Rock Fist technique. Mastering these new techniques have awakened a new type of power in him.

Furthermore, the rumor mill suggests that Saitama will not only be up against villains next season, but also against his fellow heroes. Dr. Bofoi a.k.a. Metal Knight, the mysterious S-Class member of the Hero Association, is expected to clash with the main protagonist. The character maintained a pretty sketchy appearance last season, but so far, he has not been hostile toward Saitama.

The recent reports have yet to be confirmed by the creators of "One Punch Man." Anime enthusiasts should treat the reports as speculation until proven otherwise.

More news and updates on "One Punch Man" season 2 should arrive soon.
