While the release date of "One Punch Man" season 2 is still up in the air, there are already numerous speculations on what the anime series may offer when it arrives. However, if the latest rumors are to be believed, avid fans of the series may see Saitama/One Punch Man sporting a new look and possessing a new set of powers when the highly anticipated anime series finally arrives.
There is no denying that Saitama's bald look and stoic-like expressions are two of most distinguishable features that set him apart from other anime superheroes. Hence, "One Punch Man" easily made a mark among the anime fans and became a globally popular series immediately after its season 1 was released.
However, according to the latest reports, Saitama may be given a makeover in the upcoming season 2 of the anime series. This means that he might hang his yellow suit, white cape, and red pairs of gloves and boots as he replaces them with a new set of costume. Furthermore, he might be no longer hairless in "One Punch Man" season 2 as, allegedly, he might wear a wig.
It is also said that Saitama's facial expressions may be more varied as compared to how he appeared in the first season of the anime series as the bald superhero's manga creator, Yusuke Murata, may opt to draw him in such a manner for his season 2 appearance.
However, Saitama may not only experience a makeover in the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man." While numerous sources in the past claimed that the bald superhero will experience his first defeat in the upcoming season because he will weaken after defeating Lord Boros in the season 1 finale, it is said that it will not be the case as Saitama's powers will even expand as he develops new ones.
As of this writing, it remains unknown as to when exactly "One Punch Man" season 2 will arrive. Until the popular anime series is released, rumors claiming that he will have a new look and expand his powers will remain nothing more than speculations and must be taken with a grain of salt.
