'One Punch Man' season 2 rumors: Upcoming season to feature enemies stronger than Saitama

(Facebook/One Punch Man)Saitama is said to face stronger enemies in "One Punch Man" season 2.

Although "One Punch Man" season 2 does not have a specific air date yet, there are already numerous speculations on how its story will pan out. However, there is no denying that two of the most persistent rumors attached with it are that Saitama/One Punch Man will encounter enemies that will be difficult for him to defeat and that the hero will finally have a love interest.

It was at the latter part of August when "One Punch Man" season 2 was announced. Despite the announcement, though, it remains uncertain as to when the highly anticipated anime will arrive. Since then, various plot theories have surfaced as to what its storyline will be.

Prior to the confirmation of "One Punch Man" season 2, though, there were already rumors saying that the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man" will usher in new and stronger enemies that will be difficult for Saitama to defeat with his iconic one-punch, and these rumors became even louder after the confirmation of the anime's upcoming season.

In addition to featuring stronger enemies, it is also said that the upcoming season of the anime will feature Saitama falling in love. Allegedly, the bald superhero will even find himself entangled in a love triangle, making his personal life just as complicated as his superhero life.

It is also said that the upcoming season of the anime will explore the backstory of Saitama and explain how he became the superhero that he is. To the uninitiated, Saitama was just a regular salaried man who, accidentally, discovered his fate to be a superhero after saving a child from a monster. As he trained even more, he developed the ability to defeat his enemies with just a single punch, hence, the moniker "One Punch Man."

Likewise, it is alleged that the upcoming season 2 of "One Punch Man" will feature Saitama getting bored with his powers, hence, he'll take it upon himself to search and discover where it's coming from.

Meanwhile, there are reports saying that "One Punch Man" season 2 is currently in production and will feature a fist-to-fist fight between Garou and Saitama. Apparently, "One Punch Man" season 2 is not done with its production phase yet, hence, it is likely to arrive sometime next year, and not this year, contrary to what some earlier reports claimed.
