The cast of the third season of Orange Is the New Black is seen spreading the holiday cheer behind bars in a Christmas video released by Netflix.

Fans of the hit Netflix series, Orange Is the New Black, are being given an early Christmas present in the form of the cast's rendition of the classic song, "The Twelve Days of Christmas." In the video, the lead characters such as Piper were seen in their character in a place that looks like the set of season 3. The lyrics are humorously replaced to fit the show, with Piper singing the opening line, "On my first day at Litchfield, my bunkmate gave to me."

Taylor Schilling, the actress who plays Piper Chapman, was then joined by her co-stars Laura Prepon, Adrienne C. Moore, Lea DeLaria, Laverne Cox, Danielle Brooks, Yael Stone, Natasha Lyonne, Uzo Aduba, Selenis Leyva, Kate Mulgrew and Taryn Manning with lines alternating their experiences in Litchfield.

The second season's villain, Vee (Lorraine Toussaint) was absent from the Christmas carol video. Vee caused trouble in Litchfield by bringing in drugs inside the prison, which prompted a gang war against Reed (Kate Mulgrew). Reports suggest that Vee is not in the video because she won't be seen in the third season. At the end of season 2, Vee is seen dead which made the fans speculate that her character is gone for good. However, Toussaint has been seen on the set of season 3, which means there could be a flashback scene that will feature Vee.

As for the third season's release, Buzzfeed reported that the filming for the new season already started in July, though Netflix is keeping mum about the official release date of the third season. However, a report is suggesting that the famous jailbird drama will return on July 2015.
