According to reports, one of the writers working on the scripts and story lines of 'Orange Is The New Black,' Lauren Morelli, has divorced her husband of two years.

TMZ reports that Morelli and her soon-to-be ex-husband "jointly" filed for divorce and have split amicably. Morelli is reportedly dating one of the show's female stars, Samira Wiley, who plays "Poussey" in the series.

In a blogpost published at Identities.Mic, Morelli reveals that the personal and sexual revelation came to her while writing for the series.

"I realized I was gay in fall 2012, one of my first days on the set... " Morelli wrote in a blog post dated May 21 this year.

"Accordingly, I was nervous about the first love scene I'd written for Alex and Piper. I loved writing it, loved watching a tenderness emerge in their relationship where passion always seemed to be the ruling principle, but by that time, I was so deep in my own self-doubt that I constantly felt like a fraud," the TV writer continued.

Since the blog post, Wiley has been a "staple" on the writer's Instagram account, showing photos of the two on vacation, and others showing the pair getting ready for post-awards nights.

"I went through it all on set: I fell in love with a woman, and I watched my life play out on screen. And now, as we are gearing up for the release of Season 2, it feels liberating and appropriate to live my life in front of you," Morelli also wrote in May.
