There's quite a buzz building up around Sam Heughan recently. Aside from the shine cast by popular TV series, "Outlander," recent photos of a shirtless Heughan working out have excited his very dedicated fan base.

The shirtless photos were from his photoshoot for "The Box," a workout magazine. The actor appears to be bulking up as well for his "My Peak Challenge," the challenge that aims to get people at their peak fitness while generating money for charity.

Aside from the support he gets from fans for the "My Peak Challenge," Heughan also gets tons of support from people who love the British-American TV drama "Outlander."

In recent interviews, the 35-year-old Heughan revealed that season two will be incredible and that fans will be introduced to several new characters. He added that the show is "trying to find where Jamie (Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) fit" in Paris.

Fans would recall that season one ended with Jamie and Claire on a boat to Paris, leaving behind the trauma and torture that Black Jack (Tobias Menzies) inflicted on Jamie. The upcoming season will see the two already in the City of Lights, with Claire trying hard to adjust.

According to Balfe, her character actually "had much more freedom in 18th century Scotland than she does when she first lands in Paris." She added that being placed in an extremely patriarchal society will be very tough on her.

But Claire will find other means to express her independence and will meet two new, amazing characters, Master Raymond and Mother Hildegarde, who are played by Dominique Pinon and Frances de la Tour, respectively.

Claire won't be the only one struggling to find her place in Parisian society, as Jamie also labors in an environment that's so far from his comfort zone. Plus, there's still the lingering emotional trauma that Jamie suffered under Black Jack.

Aside from the couple, "Outlander" will also touch on the story of Dougal, the War Chieftain of Clan MacKenzie and Jamie's uncle. Graham McTavish, the actor who plays Dougal, says his character's "good and evil" trait remains the same and will continue to manifest in season two.

The next season of "Outlander" will return in 2016.
