However, according to the latest reports, "Outlander" season 3 will feature Jamie meeting his daughter with Claire, Brianna (Sophie Skelton).

While those who have already read all the novels of Gabaldon claim that Jamie and Brianna's meeting does not happen in "Voyager" and transpires in the next novel instead, "Drums of Autumn," it is said that Starz will be introducing some changes to the series by making the highly anticipated encounter between the father and daughter happen earlier.

Suspicions on "Outlander" season 3 featuring Jamie and Brianna's meeting may not be a far cry after all. In the event that Brianna is set to appear in the series' season 4, why cast Skelton early? To recall, Skelton's inclusion on "Outlander" was announced back in January, which was already accompanied by a character description, saying:

"Strong-minded and intelligent beyond her years (traits inherited from both her mother and father), Brianna has a distinctly scholastic mind-set and a healthy dose of Fraser stubbornness."

At that time, even the actor who is to play an important role in "Outlander" season 3, Lord John Grey, had not even been chosen yet. It was only in August when it was finally made public that Australian actor David Berry has bagged the role of the important character.
